Oh. My. Goodness.

I have an interview tomorrow morning at 10:00 with the principal of the middle school I'd like to teach in. The school is in the next district over from where we live. They're building a new building right down the road from Andrew's daycare. Right down the road as in I can see the building from his daycare. It would be perfect! If anyone still reads my blog (doubtful), please think about me in the morning!

Recent happenings

It's been awhile. I had my ultrasound in June. Everything looks good, and we're having a girl. Her name will be Kristin Elizabeth. Andrew is excited about having a baby sister.

I had an interview last week with one of the school districts around here. It went well. The only problem is that there are no openings at the moment. The woman who interviewed me said that she'll keep my name in the pool of teacher names to give to principals who need teachers. She also said that they share names with other districts. Hopefully something will open up in the next couple of weeks.

Vacation was great. We had dinner with a friend of mine who is now a pastor. We also had dinner with a couple friends of mine from college. The Naval Air Museum was great this year. Andrew absolutely loved it. He ran from one airplane to another telling Clayton to look at this, look at that. We spent a few hours at the beach. Absolutely gorgeous. The temperature was perfect. The only problem I had was throwing out my hip while walking back up to the parking lot. I had a rough time walking the rest of the night. We went to the fireworks also. It was the best show I've seen in awhile. And the ashes didn't blow all over us this year.

Other than that, not much else is going on.
