I am now 8.5 weeks pregnant. I have an appointment May 1 with an ultrasound for 'dating' purposes, in quotes because I'm absolutely positive on my dates. When I was in at 6 weeks, the doctor said I felt bigger than 6 weeks, so he wanted to do an ultrasound.
My in-laws will be here sometime that afternoon. They'll be flying in from Argentina and then driving from Atlanta here. They'll be here for 2 weeks. The big purpose of their visit is because Clayton and Lin will be graduating from college. Woohoo!

Absolutely gorgeous day
The temperature is perfect, the sun is shining, and the birds are singing. Andrew and I outside right now. He's riding his tricycle and I'm just relaxing. The 3 of us went out for ice cream this afternoon. We haven't even eaten supper yet. The roast is in the crockpot, and is probably done, but none of us are hungry at the moment. Clayton is napping before he has to go into work. We'll probably end up eating around 7 or so...unless I start to feel the need to eat before then. I'm finding that as long as I eat before I get *too* hungry then I'm fine. I haven't actually thrown up yet, but the nausea started super early this time...like before I even got a positive test. My biggest problem is being tired. No one told me that I would be more tired the 2nd time around, what with having a 3 year old running around to keep up with. That didn't even cross my mind that I wouldn't get to rest as much as I did when I was pregnant with him. I could use a nap right now. I got to sleep in until 7:30 this morning and I had about a 2 hour nap this afternoon, but I could easily sleep again now. So, I've got what? about 7 more weeks or so to go deal with this? I'm 6 weeks today.
